All panels and plenary sessions will take place in Robinson College.

Cambridge is one of the finest cities in Britain, with a heady mix of ancient charm and world-leading hi-tech industries.  Robinson is one of the more modern colleges within the University of Cambridge, and enjoys a large and tranquil site a few minutes walk from the city centre shops, the world-famous Backs and other Cambridge Colleges.

Driving to Robinson College There is no parking on-site at Robinson College and very limited free on-street parking nearby. Parking at the nearby Wilberforce Road Athletics Ground can be booked during registration.

Well, the most obvious things are to visit the Colleges and walk round the historic centre of the city.  Cambridge is a unique and beautiful city.

Robinson College is itself a modern college, but if you want to see some Google Street Views of some older colleges look here.

Around the time of the conference, daytime temperatures will generally reach highs of around 13°C, that’s about 55°F.  At night the average minimum temperature drops down to around 7°C, that’s 44°F.  In recent times the highest recorded temperature has been 25°C, that’s 77°F, with the lowest recorded temperature -8°C, about 18°F.

The average daily relative humidity for April is around 71%.

The average daily wind speed has been around 17 kph, that’s equivalent to about 11 mph.  In recent years the maximum sustained wind speed has reached 54 kph, that’s the equivalent of around 33 mph.

It is very unlikely to snow at the time of the conference, but it has been known to happen!
